IELTS & TOEFL Preparation
High school students
IELTS* and TOEFL** are globally recognised English language tests, that are obligatory for admission to universities around the world. These tests assess language proficiency by evaluating reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
They have their unique formats and scoring systems, for which preparation is indispensable.
These exams are more than just English tests; they are rigorous assessments of your ability to succeed in an academic environment. Our goal is to bridge the gap between "knowing English" and "mastering the test."

Choosing between the IELTS and the TOEFL depends largely on your academic goals and where in the world you plan to study. While both evaluate your English proficiency, they cater to different regional preferences.
IELTS: Most widely used in the UK and Europe
TOEFL: Primarily a North American test (USA and Canada)
To ensure you prepare for the right exam, we recommend the following steps:
Research Your Target Universities: Start by listing the institutions where you intend to apply.
Verify Application Requirements: Visit the official admissions pages of those universities.
Check Proficiency Standards: Look specifically for their English language requirements to see which test(s) they accept and the minimum scores they require.

Next Steps After the Course
Upon completion of your 4-week module:
Independent Practice: We encourage students to continue training on their own using the methods and materials provided during the sessions.
Test Registration: Students must independently contact an official examination centre to schedule their test date and pay the required exam fees.
We recommend checking the availability of test dates in your region well in advance of university application deadlines.
The Teacher’s Take
"A strong IELTS score is a common language requirement for universities in many countries and it is important for students to go into the exam prepared.
The exam follows a strict format and requires students to move between tasks at a quick pace. Preparing and practicing the types of exercises is essential to success.
On exam day, when students already understand the exam format and the types of questions they may be asked, they can spend more time focusing on the content of their answers than on the instructions and structure of the exam itself.
In my experience, small considerations beforehand make a big difference. Practicing under time constraints, editing for particular structural requirements, and using subject specific vocabulary can make a big difference between grade boundaries."
