"The OEP in 3eme and 2nde is a rich opportunity to engage with English Literature and to explore a range of themes. The course is based around literary texts whether that be analysing them or using them as springboards for narrative and descriptive writing.

As the course progresses, I’m always impressed by how quickly students learn to take their initial ideas and formulate them into well-structured arguments with relevant literary evidence. 

The course encourages sharing each other’s work, learning from one another and offering constructive feedback. Groups bond quickly and each student contributes to creating a strong and positive learning environment."
